Terms of Service

§ 1 Scope

These Terms of Service apply to the use of the img2csv service (hereinafter the "Service"), operated by RUECKER Event GmbH, Hohenzollernring 58, 50672 Cologne, Germany (hereinafter the "Provider").

§ 2 Description of services

The Service enables users to convert tables from images (PNG, JPG, WEBP, HEIC) and PDF files into Excel files (.xlsx) or CSV files using AI. Recognition is performed automatically by an AI model from a third-party provider (Anthropic, Claude Vision).

§ 3 Order processing via Paddle (Merchant of Record)

Our order process for paid plans is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited (Judd House, 18–29 Mora Street, London EC1V 8BT, United Kingdom). Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record (MoR) for all our orders. This means Paddle is your contractual partner for payment processing, issues invoices in its own name, is responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable VAT/sales tax in your country, and handles all customer service inquiries relating to payments, invoices, cancellations and refunds.

Paddle's Buyer Terms apply additionally. You can submit any inquiries regarding invoices, payment methods, refunds or subscriptions directly via the Paddle customer portal at paddle.net (access using the email address you provided at checkout).

§ 4 Pricing, subscriptions & contract term

In addition to a free tier, we offer the following paid plans:
Pro: monthly subscription at the price stated on our pricing page. Billing is performed monthly in advance by Paddle. The subscription automatically renews for a further month at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the end of the current period.
Lifetime: one-time payment for unlimited use of the Pro feature set (no subscription).

All prices are inclusive of statutory VAT/sales tax unless stated otherwise. The taxes applicable to your order are calculated and shown by Paddle at checkout, and added based on your country where applicable.

Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time, without giving reasons, with effect from the end of the current billing period — either via the "Manage subscription" link in your account or directly through Paddle at paddle.net. After cancellation takes effect, you lose access to Pro features at the end of the paid period; amounts already paid for the current period are not refunded on a pro-rata basis.

Failed payments: If a recurring payment fails, you generally retain access to Pro features while Paddle retries the charge (so-called dunning). In that case we display a corresponding notice within the application. If payment cannot be collected on a permanent basis, the subscription is cancelled by Paddle and access to Pro features ends.

§ 5 Refund and cancellation policy

14-day money-back guarantee: We grant you a 14-day money-back guarantee on every purchase of a Pro subscription or Lifetime licence, starting from the order date. If you are not satisfied, we will fully refund the purchase price within this period — no questions asked.

How to request a refund: Refunds are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. You can request a refund via the Paddle customer portal at paddle.net (log in with the email address you used at checkout) or reach out to us via our contact form.

Paddle's refund policy applies in addition. Your statutory consumer rights (in particular the right of withdrawal under §§ 355 et seq. of the German Civil Code for EU consumers) remain unaffected.

§ 6 Beta status & availability

The Service is in an early-market phase. There is no entitlement to any specific availability, quality or permanent provision of individual features. The Provider may change, restrict or discontinue the Service at any time.

§ 7 Scope of use

Free use is limited to 3 extractions per day per browser. Circumvention of this limit (e.g. through automated requests, multiple browser profiles to bypass the limit, or comparable measures) is prohibited and may result in blocking.

§ 8 User obligations

You warrant that you are authorised to process the uploaded content and do not infringe any third-party rights. You undertake not to upload unlawful content or special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR (health, biometric, religious data, etc.).

§ 9 Rights to extracted data

The table data extracted from your uploads belongs exclusively to you. The Provider claims no rights whatsoever to your content or results and does not store them beyond the duration of processing.

§ 10 Disclaimer & AI accuracy

Table recognition is performed automatically. Despite high recognition quality, errors (e.g. misread numbers, column shifts, missing characters) cannot be excluded. Results must be checked before any further use — particularly for financial, legal or business-critical decisions.

The Provider is liable only for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Liability for damages resulting from the use of incorrect extraction results is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

§ 11 Data protection

Information on data processing can be found in our Privacy Policy.

§ 12 Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.

As of: April 2026.
