The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
RUECKER Event GmbH

Email: [please enable JavaScript]

2. What data we process

Uploaded content: Screenshots, photos or PDFs you upload for table extraction. These may include content you provide yourself (e.g. text, numbers, possibly personal data within tables).

Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, request timestamp — transmitted by your browser on each page request. This data is processed within server-side logs for a maximum of 30 days to ensure operation and prevent abuse.

Language preference & usage limit: Your preferred language (DE/EN) and your daily extraction limit are stored locally in your browser (Local Storage). This data does not leave your device.

3. Where your data is processed

Anthropic, PBC (USA) — Claude API: Uploaded images are transmitted to Anthropic for text recognition and table extraction. Transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Anthropic states that API content is not used for training purposes. More information: anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

Cloudinary (EU/USA) — HEIC conversion: For iPhone photos in HEIC format, the file is briefly uploaded to Cloudinary, converted to JPEG and deleted immediately after conversion. Other image formats are not transmitted to Cloudinary.

Lovable Cloud (EU) — hosting: The website and all server-side functions are operated via Lovable Cloud in the EU.

Paddle.com Market Limited (UK/EU/USA) — payment processing & Merchant of Record: When you purchase a paid plan (Pro subscription, Lifetime), Paddle.com Market Limited acts as our reseller and Merchant of Record (MoR). Paddle handles the entire order, payment, invoicing, tax collection and any refunds in its own name. As part of the checkout process, Paddle receives and processes in particular your name, email address, billing address, payment details (e.g. credit card, PayPal), IP address and transaction data. We only receive from Paddle the information necessary for the performance of the contract (e.g. customer/subscription ID, payment and subscription status, email address). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of contract) and Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR (tax obligations). Transfers to third countries (including the USA) are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. More information: paddle.com/legal/privacy and paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.

4. Storage duration

Uploaded images are not stored by us. Processing takes place directly in server memory and ends with the return of the extraction result. There is no database in which your images or extracted table data are persisted.

Server-side logs (anonymised file hash, file size, timestamp, error codes) are retained for a maximum of 30 days for error analysis and abuse prevention. Image content is not contained in logs.

5. Cookies & tracking

We do not use tracking cookies or personalised advertising. Only technically necessary Local Storage entries (language, daily limit) are created in your browser — this data does not leave your device.

6. Web Analytics with Matomo

This website uses the open-source web analytics service Matomo for statistical analysis of visitor access. We operate Matomo on our own servers in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH, Nuremberg) — no data is transferred to third parties.

Purpose: We use Matomo to analyse the use of our website and continuously improve it.

Legal basis: The data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour to optimise our service).

Data collected: On each visit, Matomo collects:

• Pages visited
• Date and time of access
• Referring website
• Browser and operating system used
• Screen resolution

No cookies are set and no personal data is shared with third parties. Do-Not-Track browser settings are respected — if enabled, no data is collected.

Your right to object (Opt-Out): You can object to data collection at any time by enabling the checkbox below. An opt-out cookie will be set in your browser to prevent future data collection. Note: If you clear your browser cookies, the opt-out cookie will also be removed and may need to be re-enabled.

7. Legal bases

Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of the user relationship) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable, abuse-free operation).

8. Your rights

You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), correction (Art. 16), deletion (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Please direct requests regarding your rights via our contact form.

9. Please do not upload sensitive data

Do not upload special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR (health data, biometric data, religious or political beliefs, etc.) or any third-party data you are not authorised to process.

As of: April 2026. This privacy notice will be updated whenever data processing changes.
